NAIA-ADA Announces 2017-18 Officers and Board of Directors

CLEVELAND - The members of the NAIA Athletics Directors Association (NAIA-ADA) elected Quin Monahan, director of athletics at University of South Carolina Beaufort, as the President for 2017-18.

"It is truly an exciting time to be part of the NAIA-ADA," said Monahan. "In partnership with the NAIA National Office in Kansas City, the NAIA-ADA is gaining support and momentum among our membership and growing significantly in areas that will prove to be critical to our continued advancement.  As the NAIA-ADA President, having served on the executive board for three years prior, it has been a pleasure working with some of the greatest athletic administrators dedicated to providing positive collegiate athletics experiences to our students and throughout our communities."

Monahan takes over for Matt Sayre, director of athletics at Southern Oregon University, who served the Association as President for 2016-17. Sayre in the role of immediate Past President will remain an Officer for 2017-18. Monahan and Sayre are joined by the 2017-18 Officers, Mike McCaffrey, athletics director at University of Saint Francis who will serve as 1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President Kiki Barnes, athletics director at Dillard University; and Joe Glover, director of athletics at Indiana University Southeast, who will serve as 3rd Vice President.

In addition to the Officers, the 2017-18 Board of Directors will include: Mike McCutcheon, athletics director at Freed-Hardeman University; Bill Popp, director of athletics at Reinhardt University; Tom Galbraith, director of athletics at Simpson University; Reagan Rossi, athletics director at College of Idaho; Gary Newsome, director of athletics at Olivet Nazarene University; Josh Gleason, athletics director at Goshen College; Bruce Parker, director of athletics at Rocky Mountain College; Keith Spataro, director of athletics at Menlo College; Tim Jager, athletics director at Morningside College; Dr. Darin S. Wilson, director of athletics at Georgia Gwinnett College; Mike Hermann, vice president/director of athletics at Kansas Wesleyan University; Jeff Lanham, athletics director at University of Rio Grande; Rusty Hollingsworth, vice president for athletics at Campbellsville University; Mike Moore, athletics director at Maryville State University; Jim Abbott, assistant vice president of intercollegiate athletics, director of athletics at Oklahoma City University; Matthew Beaudry, director of athletics & recreation at University of Michigan-Dearborn; Ashley Walyuchow, athletics director at University of Houston-Victoria; Jeff Bain, executive director of athletics at Martin Methodist College; and Drew Watson, director of athletics at Southeastern University.
