2010 NACMA Convention Student Stipend Nomination Form

NACMA is seeking nominations for the 2010 NACMA Convention Student Stipend Program. The Association's Board of Directors has allocated funds, a value of $800 each, to provide eight stipends to aspiring marketing administrators to attend the Convention in Anaheim, Calif., June 22-25, 2010.

Objective - To identify student members of NACMA who desire to attend the annual NACMA Convention at the Marriott Hotel. NACMA seeks individuals who want to advance their collegiate marketing career, enhance professional ability to raise funds for their institution and create valuable networking opportunities with numerous collegiate marketing administrators.

Goal - To increase the number of student members in NACMA and the number of students attending the NACMA Convention in Anaheim, Calif..

Requirements for Nominees:

  • Must be a current dues paying member of NACMA
  • Ambition must involve collegiate marketing responsibilities
  • Must be nominated by a faculty/staff member of a NCAA or NAIA recognized institution. Preferred to have recommendation from a sports administration faculty/staff member.

Selection Criteria:

  • Recommendation information 
  •  If possible, the applicant(s) will represent different geographic regions
  • Consideration will be given to ethnicity and gender
  • Can only be awarded stipend once every 3 years

Selected recipients will receive: (total value of $800)

  • 2010 Convention Registration ($75 value)
  • 2010 NACMA Basic Training Registration ($75 value)
  • The cost of lodging (room and tax only) and/or airfare to be reimbursed by the Association after the Convention
  • Recipients will be reimbursed for travel/lodging expenses after the 2010 Convention up to $650
