Ann Brett Strickland Position: Asst. AD-Corporate Sponsorships Institution: Western Carolina University

Ann Brett Strickland enters her third year as the assistant athletics director for external affairs at Western Carolina University. She oversees the marketing, promotions, ticket sales and radio network, while coordinating and soliciting business support and corporate sponsorships for Catamount athletics.

Prior to Western Carolina, Strickland spent five years as an assistant athletics director at Appalachian State. From 1998-2000, Strickland was the assistant athletics director at East Tennessee State and also spent three years (1995-98) as the marketing director at the University of Northern Iowa.

Strickland received her bachelor's degree in history in 1991 at the University of Virginia and earned her master's degree in sport management at Virginia Tech in 1994. She is married to Sam Strickland and the couple has three daughters - Campbell, Sarah Elizabeth and Charlotte Olivia.
