Becky Parke is in her 6th year with Sun Devil Athletics. She is responsible for overseeing season and single game ticket campaigns, external communications and in-game entertainment. In her tenure she helped ASU reach their largest football season ticket base in over 20 years as well as introducing the Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip which ties together education and athletics and annually brings more than 4,000 elementary school students to a women's basketball game. Parke also oversaw the introduction of Sparky's Tour, a program that takes ASU's mascot, coaches and student-athletes to elementary and middle schools throughout the valley to talk about the importance of higher education and teach students how to be a SPARKY (Self-starter, Positive, Active, Responsible, Knowledgeable and Yourself). Parke joined Sun Devil Athletics in 2005 after spending 7 years at the NACDA office as an assistant administrator and association liaison, working with NACMA, CABMA and NAAC. Parke was named to the NACMA Board of Directors in 2010. Parke received her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Marketing & Management from Indiana University in 1998. |
