Major/Essential Duties of Job:

Assist in the day to day operation of the academic center including, but not limited to... mentoring student athletes and monitoring their academic progress through 1:1 consultation meetings, assisting tutorial and mentor coordinator in recruiting and training tutors, completing special projects requiring data collection, analysis, and interpreation, preparing reports for coordinators, managing bookslip program, and other duties as assignmed by the Director of Academic Support.

Required Education and Experiences:

Bachelors degree required.

Preferred Education and Experiences:

Masters degree preferred. Previous experience working in academic support preferred.

Additional Information:

A successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, must be attentitve to detail and accurate in record keeping and possess an ability to work with a diverse constituency including students, parents, coaches, faculty, and administrators. Candidates must be proficent in using Microsoft programs (web design, excel, word, access).

This is an intern position, not a graduate assistant position. Tuition assistance is not included. Salary: 1,500/mo.
