The Middle Tennessee State University Athletic Ticket Office is a seeking a qualified individual for paid internship position for the period of July 1, 2010 - May 30, 2011.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assist with the daily operations in the athletic ticket office. Contact with customers over the counter and via the telephone. Make out-going phone calls to season ticket holders and prospects in an effort to increase season ticket sales as well as overall attendance. Use of Archtics, TM Host and Ticketmaster on-line ticketing website on a daily basis. Supervision of game day staff during athletic events. Assist with solicitation of season ticket holders for Football, Basketball and Baseball. Assist in ticket reconciliation, cash management, data entry, event operations, player guest management and duties as assigned by the Director of Ticketing. Individual will also assist with all ticket campaigns for Football, Basketball and Baseball and other events as well as the game day event operations for those sports. The position involves extensive customer contact and requires excellent communication service and organizational skills. Evening and weekend hours required.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency using the Archtics ticketing system along with Ticketmaster Host/ Classic. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Additional Requirements: Candidate should be seeking a career in ticket sales or marketing, be team-oriented, bring a positive attitude to the office and willing to work irregular hours.
