Qualifications: A bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred. A minimum of one year experience in NCAA Division I collegiate athletic development or related work experience. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency in a variety of software applications including Microsoft office, as well as experience in Paciolan preferred. Candidate must demonstrate exercise superior levels of customer service at all times, the ability to work independently as well as within in a team and handle multiple tasks at one time.
Responsibility: The Assistant Director of Annual Giving will work with the Director of Development on University of Georgia Athletic Association annual giving programming. Provide day-to-day support of all athletic annual giving campaigns including implementation of brochures, renewals, reminders and marketing. Oversight of one of the three annual giving funds: The Gymnastics Endowment Fund. The position will assist with cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of all annual fund donors as well as information gathering and annual fund research. Oversight will include all annual fund donor benefits, the new donor education and stewardship process and all G Club (letterwinners) database work, communication and events. Assist with premium seating renewals, reminders and benefits including Football SkySuites, Club Seating and Men's and Women's Basketball courtside seats. This position will maintain and update The Georgia Bulldog Club website, distribute a monthly electronic donor newsletter, respond in a timely manner to all email inquires to The Georgia Bulldog Club's general email address, assist with donor communication including emails and press releases as well as work with the Athletic Associations New Media department to ensure necessary coverage and utilization of new department. Coordinate all annual giving events including Meet the Team functions as well as support of all development office events is included but not limited to scholarship endowment note card lunch, scholarship endowment dinner, golf tournament, thank-a-thon and signature event. In addition to events, must be flexible to work nights and weeks as well as assist Georgia Athletic Hospitality with football game day premium seating preparations and operations.
