Duties:
Benedictine University, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Northern Athletics Conference is accepting resumes for the position of Athletic Marketing & Communications Coordinator. The position will develop and coordinate a comprehensive and integrated marketing communications program (including but not limited to media and public relations, publications, advertising, promotional items, signage, Web site, e-communications) to help achieve the goals of the University Intercollegiate Athletics program. Ensure that information about the University Intercollegiate Athletics program is available to the public in a timely and effective manner by developing and coordinating a comprehensive program of sports coverage which focuses on both the competitive and non competitive activities and includes information on student-athletes and teams. Provide a comprehensive package of print materials for public dissemination by developing and distributing publications for all sports (including but not limited to annual media guides and team yearbooks for each sport, individual event programs, schedule cards, schedule posters, individual newsletters, individual camp brochures, alumni publications, special event publications, and post season media guides). Ensure that necessary individual and team statistical data for University Intercollegiate Athletics program and opponents are gathered and disseminated through regular sports information channels by developing, organizing and managing a program for staffing athletics events with sports information personnel at competitive events hosted by the University.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred. Experience: 1-3 years at the intercollegiate level. Specific Knowledge, Licenses, and Certifications: Knowledge of related conference and NCAA rules as well as ethical standards and practices for sports information as defined by CoSIDA. Understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy. Knowledge of required statistical software, website tools and desktop publishing software. MUST HAVE PERMANENT LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE U.S.A.
