ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Athletic Compliance Office
University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

The University of Minnesota Athletic Compliance Office, which reports to the Office of the General Counsel, is seeking an athletic compliance professional to serve as assistant director. The position is responsible for Advising and assisting in the work required to comply with The National Collegiate Athletic Association and Big Ten Conference rules - including, but not limited to: amateurism, recruiting, eligibility, financial aid and playing seasons; preparing educational information for support staff, coaches, athletic department staff, and other University departmental staff as assigned; designing and completing audits and reviews related to eligibility, recruiting, and financial aid; assisting with compliance office and athletic department projects and tasks as assigned.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree; strong written and verbal communication skills; at least one year of experience in athletic administration, athletic compliance or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications: Masters or law degree; at least two years of experience in Division I athletic administration or athletic compliance; experience with NCAA Legislative Services Database (LSDBi) and Compliance Assistance Software (CAi).
