University of Kansas Athletics Department - Development Student/Graduate Assistant Jul. 2007 - Present
Answer questions from prospective or current donors about the Williams Educational Fund, the fundraising arm of Kansas Athletics.
Search for donor prospects, which includes alumni and regional corporate executives.
Represent the Athletic Department at all Williams Fund events such as football tailgates and basketball pre-game dinners.
Managed football game day limited mobility shuttle and staff.
Noted Projects:
2008 BCS FedEx Orange Bowl - Assisted in the organization of official Kansas Athletics events.
Was an Athletic Department representative for a traveling group that totaled over 100 KU supporters.
2008 NCAA Final Four and National Championship - Sold tickets and assisted in the management of pep rallies.
2008 Big 12 Development Conference - Assisted in the administration of the event, hosted by Kansas Athletics.
Courtside seating - Assisted in the research of pricing, contracts, and implementation in Allen Fieldhouse.
Touchdown Club premium seating - Aided in sales and game day service of a premium seating section in Memorial Stadium.
Inaugural Dr. Bob Frederick Basketball Tournament & Celebration Sponsorship sales Nov 2009
Assisted in the organization of a scholarship fundraising event in honor of the University of Kansas' former Director of Athletics, Dr. Bob Frederick.
Met with potential sponsors and proposed sponsorships at $2,500, $1,000 and $500 levels.
Raised $8,850 in sponsorship revenue. This amount exceeded the $5,000 goal.
Worked with the University of Kansas Endowment Association to create a non-profit auction website through eBay. Online auction generated over $7,150 in revenue.

Managed a staff of eight cart attendants; trained new attendants, prepared work schedules and oversaw the completion of staff duties.

Organized club and corporate tournaments by preparing groups, golf carts for play, and ensured proper placement of advertisements.
Recorded monthly inventory and reordered any necessary items.
