NACDA Adds Erin Dengler to National Office Staff

Cleveland, Ohio - The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) has hired Erin Dengler to the position of Assistant Director of Communications.

Dengler graduated from Miami University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in strategic communications and recently completed her master's degree in higher education administration at the University at Buffalo in May 2010. She officially began her duties at the national office on July 6. She will help oversee the production of Athletics Administration and will also help with affiliate association programs and publications, media relations and other duties as assigned. She will also help oversee the Northeastern Chapter of the National Football Foundation membership and banquet.

While at Buffalo, Dengler was the graduate assistant in the Athletics Communications Office, serving as the primary media contact for women's soccer, swimming and diving and softball. She wrote and edited media guides, as well as game summaries and website features. As an undergraduate at Miami, Dengler was a student assistant in the athletics media relations department, wrote for the school newspaper, The Miami Student, and also had internships at US Bank Arena and WKRC-Local 12 in Cincinnati. The Buffalo, New York native now resides in Cleveland.
