NACDA Elects New Officers and Executive Committee Members

Cleveland, Ohio -- The members of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) have chosen Kevin White, director of athletics at the University of Notre Dame, to serve as president for 2007-08. White was elected during NACDA's 42nd Annual Convention, held June 7-10 in Orlando, Florida.
Also elected to serve NACDA for the 2007-08 term were 1st Vice President Joan Cronan, director of women's athletics at the University of Tennessee; 2nd Vice President Randy Spetman, director of athletics at Utah State University; 3rd Vice President Dave Roach, director of athletics at Colgate University; and David Stair, director of athletics at Evangel University, to the second year of a five year term as secretary. Executive Committee members selected include athletics directors Kevin Anderson of the United States Military Academy as a University Division representative; and Susan Petersen Lubow of the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Tim Selgo of Grand Valley State University, Tom Buning of the University of North Dakota, Jared Mosley of Abilene Christian University, Greg Waggoner of Western State College of Colorado and Anita Barker of California State University Chico as College Division representatives. Chosen as the new at-large representative is Chris Haines, athletics director at the South Mountain Community College.
NACDA, now in its 43rd year, is the professional and educational association for more than 6,100 college athletics administrators at more than 1,600 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. More than 2,000 athletics administrators annually attend the NACDA Convention. Additionally, NACDA administers 10 professional associations for the separate business units that report directly to the athletics director.
