Same Four Institutions Atop Final Winter Directors' Cup Standings

Division I - Twelve-time U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup winner, Stanford, maintained its lead in the final set of winter standings with 997.5 points.

In the most recent NCAA championships, the Cardinal finished third in men's gymnastics and fifth in women's gymnastics. Stanford also finished runner-up in men's swimming, finished fourth overall in both men's track and field and women's swimming, the women's track and field team was sixth, women's basketball 17th in women's basketball, wrestling was 32nd and men's basketball was 33rd. Division II - Grand Valley State held onto its lead in the final winter U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings for Division II, tallying 699.5 points. Grand Valley State finished third in women's track and field, fifth in men's basketball, eighth in men's track and field, 23rd in women's swimming, 28th in men's swimming and 33rd in women's basketball. Division III - The Ephs of Williams held onto its lead in the 2006-07 Division III U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings with 704.5 points. The Ephs won the women's track and field championship, finished fourth in men's swimming, sixth in women's swimming, 14th in men's track and field, 15th overall in the National Collegiate skiing championship, 30th in wrestling and 33rd in both men's and women's basketball. NAIA - Two-time defending champion Azusa Pacific continues its hold on first place in the final winter 2006-07 NAIA U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings.
