NACDA Launches Professional Development Grant Opportunity

CLEVELAND – The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) has launched the 2014 NACDA Foundation Professional Development Grant for NACDA member directors of athletics to attend the NACDA Convention.

The Professional Development Grant seeks athletics directors who desire to further advance their collegiate administrative career and create valuable networking/educational opportunities with numerous collegiate athletics administrators.


  • Applicants must be completing their first or second year as an athletics director during the year of application OR
  • The applicant may be an athletics director for more than two years but have never attended a NACDA Convention, OR
  • The applicant may be an athletics director who has not attended the NACDA Convention within the last three years.
  • The applicant must be a current dues paying member of NACDA

$1,000 Stipend shall include:

  • Convention registration ($375)
  • Up to $625 to offset the cost of lodging (room and tax only), airfare/mileage and meals to be reimbursed by the Association after the Convention

Deadline for Nominations:

  • Friday, March 14
