National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Promotes Galaska to Assistant Executive Director

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) has promoted Jason Galaska to the position of Assistant Executive Director at its recent Executive Committee Meetings. Galaska had been serving as the administrator/association liaison.
Galaska serves as the staff liaison for the Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA), the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA), the International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA), the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC), the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) and the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA).
Galaska also serves as co-editor of the NACDA Daily Review, Athletics Administration, NACDA's bi-monthly magazine and is the Association's intern coordinator.
"Jason's been the keystone in the relationship between NACDA and its affiliate associations," stated NACDA Executive Director Mike Cleary. "He's heavily involved in the day-to-day relationships of our officers and leaders, while integrating the affiliate associations into the NACDA Convention." The Association's 82nd intern, during the 1997-98 academic year, Galaska previously worked in the University of Massachusetts' athletics department, serving as the assistant athletics director for tickets and game operations. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1997 with a major in sports management and a minor in marketing.
