Mitch Straub, a native of Waterloo, Neb., graduated from the University of New Mexico in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing.

While at New Mexico, Straub was a member of the Lobo football team and was on the 2008 New Mexico Bowl champion team. During his college career, he strived to help youth football players in the Albuquerque area as part of the Brian Urlacher Youth Football Camp, the NCAA Youth Football Camp and volunteering at local schools.

Straub also worked as an intern for the New Mexico athletics department. He helped coordinate group sales efforts for both New Mexico basketball teams and the football team. In addition, Straub initiated the first group tailgating purchasing option for New Mexico basketball games along with developing a contract fulfillment for Nike.

He will be working with NAADD, Division II ADA, NATYCAA and the ADOY program and can be reached at mstraub@nacda.com. After his internship, Straub plans to continue to work within the athletics field and obtain his master's degree.
