Jessica McCloy comes to NACDA from Cleveland State University (CSU) where she completed her master's degree in sports management in 2012, where she served as the graduate assistant for student life/student activities as well as in graduate admissions. McCloy also served as a marketing intern for the Vikings, where she led game day set up, organized promotional activities for sponsor fulfillment and organized half-time shows for men's and women's basketball.
A Cincinnati native, McCloy completed her undergraduate degree at Cleveland State as well, where she was a four year letter winner and two-year team captain for the women's soccer team. McCloy was active in the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), where she was not only an advisor, but also served as President for CSU, and the Horizon League.
She was a recipient of the 12th annual John McLendon Award, and served as a member on the athletic director search committee in 2010-11.
While at NACDA, McCloy will be working with CEFMA, I-AAA ADA, the John McLendon Minority Foundation, ICLA and the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup. After her internship, she plans to pursue a career in collegiate athletics. McCloy can be reached at jmccloy@nacda.com.
