Jenna Mapé, a native of Calgary, Alberta Canada, graduated from the University at Buffalo (UB) in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in marketing. While at Buffalo, Mapé was a member of the women's volleyball team and was named to the Cornell University Invitation all-tournament team. In 2007, Mapé also competed in the Empire State games as a member of the Western New York volleyball team where she helped lead the team to a silver medal. After serving as a student-athlete, Mapé worked in the Buffalo athletics department as the administration intern where she was very active in the planning of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, various student services projects such as senior stampede books and student-athlete development projects. As an intern, Mapé also helped plan and facilitate coaches' development meetings and was also a member of various administration committees. Following her internship, Mapé hopes to obtain her MBA, attend law school and pursue a career as an athletics director or SWA.
