Erin Mykleby, a native of Bettendorf, Iowa, and a recent graduate of the University of Iowa Sports Management Master's program, brings a wide variety of athletics experience to NACDA, ranging from the Division I to the Division III ranks.

During her time in Iowa City, Mykeby served as a teaching assistant for the program, as well as a supervisor for the undergraduate Sports Business Internship course. Mykleby also worked as a student-athlete Academic Service Learning Assistant for the football team, where she worked one-on-one with student-athletes to help develop organizational skills, and learning strategies. She was also a graduate intern for the UI athletic department in event management, where she managed athletic events, championships, and coordinated the "ball kids" for two rounds of the 2013 NCAA Women's Division I basketball tournament. Mykleby also served as the High Performance/Coaching Education summer intern for USA Track & Field in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Prior to her time with the Hawkeyes, Mykleby attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where she was a captain on the Luther College Swimming and Diving Team and a Honorable Mention Academic All-American (2011). She earned a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, as well as a minor in Communication Studies. Mykleby has had experience teaching/coaching volleyball, basketball and swimming overseas in Antwerp, Belgium.

While at NACDA, Mykleby will be working with N4A, NAAC, the D2ADA, the D2CCA and the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation. After her internship with NACDA, she hopes to pursue a career in intercollegiate athletics as a senior level administrator at the Division I level. Mykleby can be reached at emykleby@nacda.com.
