NAADD Elects New Officers and Executive Committee Members for 2009-10

CLEVELAND – The members of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) elected Tim McMurray, senior associate athletics director for development at Northern Illinois University, to serve as president for 2009-10. Matt Donovan, associate director of athletics for development at the University of Indianapolis served as President of NAADD in 2008-09. “First I want to thank Matt for leading our Association last year and helping build another outstanding Convention in Orlando,” stated McMurray. “I have been affiliated with this Association for 14 years, and I look forward to continuing the momentum that we have built heading into the 2009-10 year by continuing to add value for all NAADD members.” Also elected to serve as officers for the 2009-10 were – 1st Vice President Jim Paquette, associate athletics director at Boston College; 2nd Vice President Marija Pientka, associate athletics director at the University of Wisconsin; and 3rd Vice President Dennis Young, associate athletics director at East Carolina University. The 2009-10 Executive Committee members include: Whit Babcock, senior associate athletics director – external operations, University of Missouri; Pat Chun, deputy senior associate athletics director – external relations, The Ohio State University; Dan Cloran, executive director, All for One Club, Xavier University; Julie Hall, associate athletics director, University of California Riverside; Kay Hargrave, senior associate athletics director – development, Auburn University; Phillip McAlpin, assistant athletic director – development, North Carolina A&T State University; Stephen Ponder, senior associate athletics director, Arizona State University; and Jim Senter, associate athletics director development, University of Colorado.
