Kay Hargrave Position: Senior Associate Athletics Director, Development Institution: Auburn University

Kay Hargrave is the senior associate athletics director for development at Auburn University (UA). Her duties include managing the development staff and coordinating all fundraising efforts for Tigers Unlimited and the Auburn athletics department.

In March 2008, Hargrave led the Legends Campaign for Auburn, which generated more than $170 million. The Legends Campaign was the first-ever capital campaign for the athletics department and surpassed its goal by more than $80 million.

Prior to her role as associate athletics director, Hargrave worked as an admissions counselor in Auburn's admissions office from 1996-98. In 1998, she served as the director of Auburn Clubs for the Auburn Alumni Association before joining the Tigers Unlimited staff in October 2001.

Hargrave currently serves as vice president for Auburn's development leadership team while overseeing the athletics advisory council and serving on the Executive Committee for the National Association of Athletics Development Directors (NAADD).

Hargrave is a native of Selma, Ala. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Auburn University in 1995 and her master's in counseling from her alma mater in 1997. She is married to Chris Hargrave of Richmond, Va. They have one daughter, Kinman Kate, born January 15, 2008.
