Nov. 8, 2011

CLEVELAND -- NAAC is accepting proposals for sessions to be presented at the 2012 NAAC Convention at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, June 24-25, 2012. Sessions are typically 45 to 60 minutes in length. Proposals may be submitted for general sessions at the Convention (estimated 250 attendees) or for breakout sessions (estimated 75 attendees per session).

Each proposal will be reviewed by the NAAC Convention and Education Committees prior to final selection. Proposals must be submitted by December 21. The individual listed as the contact person will be notified of the status of their proposal no later than January 11, 2012.

Please note, in order to keep the registration rate low for our members as our organization grows, NAAC will not pay for the cost of travel, hotel or meals expenses for its selected Convention speakers. In most cases, the institutions, departments or organizations of the selected speakers support the mission of NAAC and the professional development of the selected speaker by covering the aforementioned costs.
