For the first time, university, conference and NCAA leaders will gather for a “think tank” regarding national compliance and enforcement issues. “There is a growing sense of unease within college athletics due to the NCAA’s complex regulatory system and the lack of clear standards to guide institutions,” stated Van Horn. “Athletics directors and presidents know institutions are vulnerable. This think tank provides a platform for laying key athletics compliance issues on the table for discussion with nationally recognized strategic thinkers.” ABOUT NAAC: NAAC is in its 11th year and serves as the professional and educational association of athletics compliance professionals.
