CLEVELAND - The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of individuals to its inaugural Nominating Subcommittee.
The memberships voted for a maximum of four individuals from the slate of nine candidates. The following individuals were election as the membership’s representation:
- Corey Bray, Associate AD for Compliance, UAB
- Jason Gray, Assistant Provost for NCAA Compliance, Tulane University
- Kendra Greene, Associate AD for Academics & Compliance Services/SWA, Florida A&M University
- Brandi Guerinot, Sr. Associate AD for Internal Operations/Interim AD, Daemen College
These individuals will be responsible for presenting a slate of nominees for the membership's annual consideration for at-large Board positions and Nominating Subcommittee positions. They are expected to display a long-term commitment to NAAC, its mission statement and core principles, with an aim at a diverse representation of NAAC's membership.
The Nominating Subcommittee will be a subset of the Membership & Awards Committee and will being their tenure in the 2018-19 academic year. As this is the inaugural year of the subcommittee, terms will be staggered. The two candidates receiving the most votes, Bray and Gray, will serve a two-year term with the next two, Greene and Guerinot, serving for one year. Candidates are eligible to be re-elected once for a maximum of four years of service.
