Loretta Lamar is the associate director of athletics for compliance and the senior woman administrator for the United States Naval Academy.
She started her career in intercollegiate athletics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as the compliance coordinator in 1994. She later was the director of compliance at Texas San Antonio where she was a member of the University of Texas System's Compliance Committee.
She currently serves on the Continuing Eligibility Subcommittee of the NCAA Division I Academic/ Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet. She is also a member of the Sport Management Committee and the Committee for Athletics Administration for the Patriot League. She is a member of the Maryland Bar, and the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA).
Lamar earned her bachelor's degree in applied earth science from Stanford and went on to earn her law degree from the Oregon.
Lamar currently resides in Annapolis, Maryland. |
