Lori Ebihara is the Assistant Commissioner for Governance and Compliance at the Big 12 Conference.

Prior to joining the Big 12 Conference in 1996, she served as the Compliance/Legislative Assistant for the Big Eight Conference for three years and she also completed a one-year internship at the NCAA national office. Lori has been involved in the NCAA Division I national governance structure, serving four-year terms on the Division I Academic/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet, Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee and Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct Committee.

During her time at the Big 12 Conference, Lori has served in a co-chair role for the Collegiate Commissioners Association Compliance Administrators group and has been involved in the NCAA Division I Athletics Certification Program as a peer-reviewer. She has been appointed to the new NCAA governance structure as the Big 12 Conference representative to the Division I Legislative Council and has been appointed to the NACDA Executive Committee.

A native of Oberlin, Ohio, Lori received a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and completed master's course work in education at Ashland University.
