Dan Bartholomae Position: Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance Institution: University of Pittsburgh

Dan Bartholomae is entering his eighth academic year at the University of Pittsburgh, Dan Bartholomae was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in September 2008. Prior to his appointment to that position, Dan served as Director of Compliance, Assistant Director of Compliance, Compliance and Game Operations Assistant and Compliance Intern, all at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to his responsibility for the development and implementation of all facets of the Compliance program at Pitt, Dan has also assisted in the life skills, marketing, sport administration and development areas of the athletic department.

Dan is currently active on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Athletics Compliance and is a member of the NCAA's Eligibility Center Advisory Group.

Dan received his B.S in Public Policy from Indiana University in 2002, and completed his MBA at Pitt in April 2008.

Dan and his wife Lauren, both natives of the Pittsburgh area, reside in Pittsburgh, PA.
