#GivingTuesday - MOAA Rudy Keeling Scholarship Fund

Nov. 28, 2017

Each year, the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) provides funding to athletics administrators who want to pursue an advanced degree to further their administrative pursuits, or those desiring to attend a professional development initiative to strengthen their qualifications.

For the fifth year, MOAA will be offering at least one scholarship in honor of former Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Commissioner, Rudy Keeling, who was the first African-American to ever lead a major sports conference, a position he held from 2007 until his retirement in January 2013.

Rudy was a true servant leader striving to help, mentor and empower others. He also served admirably as a member of the MOAA Board of Directors. This Scholarship honors his memory by providing needed dollars for the recipient to pursue their postgraduate degree.

We need your support. Your assistance will allow us to continue to provide deserving help to athletics administrators who want to pursue an advanced degree to further their administrative pursuits, or those desiring to attend a professional development initiative to strengthen their qualifications.

MOAA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and any contribution you make will be tax-deductible.

You may contribute online or make checks payable to the ‘MOAA Rudy Keeling Scholarship Fund’ and mail to:
