MOAA Launches Mentorship Program

CLEVELAND - The Minority Opportunities Athletic Association’s (MOAA) Board of Directors is excited to announce the individuals selected for the inaugural Professional Development Mentorship Program. 

“We are excited to provide another opportunity for our members to grow and learn from veteran and novice professionals alike,” stated Carla Wilson, the director of athletics at the University of Missouri Kansas City and Chair of the MOAA Education/Professional Development Committee. “We commend and congratulate the MOAA Mentorship Program class of 2017 for their commitment to expanding their network and knowledge of the industry.”

The goal of the MOAA Professional Development Mentorship Program is to act as a support system with the ability to bridge the gap between novice and experienced professionals, as well as developing professionals through a series of enriched learning opportunities. The program will kick off on June 11 at the 2017 MOAA Symposium.
