Lori Ebihara Position: Assistant Commissioner Institution: Big 12 Conference

Lori Ebihara is the assistant commissioner for governance, compliance and academics at the Big 12 Conference.

Prior to joining the Big 12 Conference in 1996, she served as the compliance/legislative assistant for the Big Eight Conference and she also completed a one-year internship at the NCAA. Ebihara has been involved in the NCAA Division I national governance structure, serving four-year terms on the Division I Academic/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet, Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee and Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct Committee.

During her time at the Big 12 Conference, Lori has served in a co-chair role for the Collegiate Commissioners Association Compliance Administrators group and has been involved in the NCAA Division I Athletics Certification Program as a peer-reviewer. She currently represents the Big 12 Conference on the NCAA Division I Legislative Council and has been appointed to the NACDA Executive Committee.

A native of Oberlin, Ohio, Lori received a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and completed master's course work in education at Ashland University.
