ICLA Program Information Sharing Disclosure Questionnaire

Dear Fellow ICLA member, I am sure that you will agree that one of the great benefits of ICLA membership is the ability to learn from industry peers by sharing information from common experiences. Many of you do this by utilizing the ICLA List serve, calling peers directly, and presenting or networking at our annual meetings. Our ICLA membership is filled with a bounty of amazing stories of program initiatives, promotions, and challenges met. Sadly, many of these stories still go untold and unrecognized... and we would like to change that. The second week of November, you will be asked to submit nominations for the ICLA Synergy Award. Do you know of a peer who has a compelling story to tell? How about your own program? Why not nominate yourself and/or that peer? Unfortunately, we traditionally have very few nominations to choose from even though we know that there are many who are worthy of nomination. This year we intend to change that through the exciting new initiative described below. We are asking all member institutions to participate in the "Program Information Disclosure Questionnaire" by clicking here. This questionnaire is designed to be a platform for information sharing and should only take a few minutes to complete unless you choose to expound on any of the questions. Naturally, we would encourage you to provide as much detail as possible. All completed questionnaires will be reviewed by the awards committee which is actively seeking individuals and programs worthy of nomination for one of the ICLA awards. Members who have compelling stories to tell may be asked if they can be placed into the nomination pool. No program will be placed into the nomination pool without obtaining prior approval. Please complete the questionnaire by December 1, to give the committee adequate time to review all questionnaires. Please note: All information provided will be considered strictly confidential and will not be shared without your prior consent.
One additional potential benefit of this program pertains to some reoccurring benchmarking questions that come up frequently from the ICLA membership body. You will note that some of the questions are short and strictly informational questions. These survey answers could be compiled into an annual report that can be provided to you by the NACDA office upon request. We are confident that this program will be beneficial to both ICLA and your individual programs, but we need your participation. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
