Re: ICLA 8th Annual Winter Symposium Registration

It’s that time of year again, time to start preparing for the Annual Winter Symposium, I am excited to be this year’s chair of ICLA’s 8th Annual Winter Symposium, and I want to encourage each of you to start thinking about making plans to attend. The Symposium will take place in conjunction with CAMEX/NACS in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Centre from March 11–15, 2010, and the CAMEX Tradeshow is March 13-15 at the Orange County Convention Center. The Rosen Centre Hotel is our host hotel.

As you prepare to register, please keep January 4, 2010 in mind. That is the deadline to register for the Symposium and still receive the best hotel rate, registration rate, and receive your name badge and registrant package in advance via mail. Online Registration will be coming soon.

Remember, by registering as an ICLA member prior to the deadline, it will insure the Association receives a portion of the registration fees. The registration fee will allow you to attend all ICLA meetings and functions as well as the NACS/CAMEX Educational Sessions and Tradeshow.

To make hotel reservations, ICLA members can click on the link on ICLA’s web site that says hotel information. The hotel rate for ICLA member registrants is $199 plus tax per night for single and double occupancy rooms. When making hotel reservations, remember to identify yourself as an ICLA member to receive the discounted rate!

The ICLA Winter Symposium Program Committee is in place and hard at work in planning an exciting and educational agenda for the Symposium. Highlights include Joint Sessions with NACS, ICLA General Sessions and Round Tables, where ICLA members can interact with other members to discuss real-world collegiate licensing experiences.

For additional information, please visit the agenda portion of our web site. The web site will have an updated agenda, hotel information, a registration link and general information pertaining to the Symposium and the host city of Orlando. Upon review of this information, if you have any questions, please contact Jason Galaska (jgalaska@nacda.com) or Alise Maynard (amaynard@nacda.com) in the ICLA office at 440/892-4000.

I hope to see each of you in Orlando in March!

Sincerely,

Maggie Huckaba
