Shingle Creek Resort

This year, all attendees will be housed at the Shingle Creek Resort, which has 1,500 guestrooms. The resort is located just off Universal Boulevard, east of the Orange County Convention Center North/South expansion and just 10 minutes away from the Orlando International Airport.
Room rates are $138 plus tax for single and double occupancy. The cutoff for reservations with the ICLA rate is January 12, 2007. There is a 5 days prior to arrival cancellation policy. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m., with checkout at 11:00 am.
The hotel is equipped with a host of modern amenities. For the guests' convenience, the hotel offers a comprehensive business center, restaurants/ bars- A Land Remembered (Steak house), Cala Bella, Bella's Bar, Cat-tails Pool Bar & Grille, 18 Monroe Street Market, Café Osceola and Osceola Bar, Smooth Java, Headwaters Lounge, and Creek Ice Creamery.
The Shingle Creek resort also features a golf course, spa, and pool. Local attractions include Universal Orlando®, Wet`n Wild and SeaWorld® benefits including complimentary transportation to these parks. Shingle Creek Resort is also located within 15 minutes to all Disney World® attractions with transportation at expense to guest.
Online Registration
ICLA members can make hotel reservations online. The ICLA member rate at the Shingle Creek Resort is $138 for single and double occupancy rooms. Although the site identifies the meeting as CAMEX, it is also used by attendees of the ICLA Winter Symposium. Standard Registration
Please print the Housing Reservation Form. This form is also used by ICLA members attending the ICLA Winter Symposium. It can be returned via fax to 800/897-5439 (Domestic). A valid credit card is required to confirm fax reservation requests. Reservations can also be mailed to: Orlando CVB/ CAMEX 2007 Housing Bureau, 6700 Forum Drive, Suite 100, Orlando, FL 32821. If the form is received without a valid deposit it will not be processed. If you register via mail or fax be sure to state that you are a member of ICLA.
Guarantees A $150 deposit is required to make a reservation; a $300 deposit is required for a one-bedroom suite; a $450 deposit is required for a two-bedroom suite. The deposit amount is payable by credit card or check (mail only). Requests received without a valid guarantee will be returned and will not be processed.

Credit card must be valid through March 2007 to be considered proper guarantee.
Check Deposit Guarantee
Make checks payable to "Orlando CVB/CAMEX 2007 Housing Bureau" in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank. No wire transfers will be accepted. Mail check along with your hotel reservation form to the address provided above. Checks must be good through March 2007.
Cancellations/Changes
The CAMEX Housing Bureau must receive cancellations before 5:00 p.m. EST on March 14, 2007. Starting March 15, 2007, and prior to 5 days before arrival date, changes and cancellations must be made with your assigned hotel. Any cancellations made within 5 days of the arrival date will result in forfeiture of the full deposit. Hotel Rates and Taxes Take advantage of special rates by booking your reservation by Feb. 16, 2007. All rates are per room and are subject to 13.5% tax (subject to change). (A tax exemption form must be presented to the hotel at check-in if you are tax exempt.)
