Cleveland, Ohio -- The members of the International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) have chosen Cindy Van Matre, director of trademark licensing at the University of Wisconsin, to serve as president for 2006-07.

elected to serve ICLA for the 2006-07 term were 1st Vice President Dale Arens, trademark licensing director at the University of Iowa; 2nd Vice President/Treasurer Craig Westemeier, director, office of trademark licensing at the University of Texas; and 3rd Vice President/Secretary Derek Lochbaum, director of trademarks and licensing at the University of North Carolina.
New members to the Association's Board of Directors include Shane Hinckley, director of marketing and licensing at the University of Utah; Maggie Huckaba, director, trademark licensing at Vanderbilt University; and Greg Via, vice president of strategic alliance at the New Era Cap Company. They join current Board members Robert Cleveland, assistant director of trademark licensing at Ohio State University; Jay Marano, licensing coordinator at Carnegie Mellon University; Maureen Riedel, manager, trademark licensing at Penn State University; and Maria Rubinshteyn, director, management and marketing at the University of California.
ICLA provides educational and networking opportunities; enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics; and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of collegiate licensing
