ICLA Announces New Logo in Conjunction with the Start of its Annual Convention

June 9, 2008

Dallas, Texas -- The International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) has approved a new logo for the association as it was announced at the start of its Sixth Annual Convention at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. The new logo is effective immediately.

"We felt that the association's logo needed an update, while keeping with the traditional "collegiate pennant theme," stated ICLA President Dale Arens, trademark and licensing director at the University of Iowa. "Rickabaugh Graphics did a tremendous job of keeping with tradition and updating the look of the logo." "Eric Rickabaugh of Rickabaugh Graphics is a long time active member of ICLA and has a great feel for the traditions and history of our membership. We couldn't be more pleased with the work he provided on this updated version."

The release of the updated logo comes at a time when ICLA is experiencing strong growth. Only in its sixth year, ICLA membership has risen to its highest number ever (460). The diversity of ICLA membership is its strength with wide-ranging perspectives, backgrounds and experiences all aimed at fulfilling a vision for ICLA to serve collegiate licensing professionals at all levels.

About ICLA: ICLA provides educational and networking opportunities, enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics, and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of collegiate licensing. For more information about ICLA, please visit www.iclanet.com.
