ICLA Selects 2012 Winter Symposium Stipend Winners

CLEVELAND - The International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) has announced its 2012 ICLA Winter Symposium Stipend award winners. The winners will participate in the Symposium which will take place March 2-6 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ICLA Winter Symposium offers attends an opportunity to attend educational session that are held in conjunction with the CAMEX Tradeshow each year.

Grant recipients receive a monetary award to help cover expenses associated with registration and travel to the Winter Symposium.

"On behalf of ICLA, I want to congratulate the 2012 Winter Symposium Stipend winners," stated ICLA President Maggie Huckaba, trademark licensing director at Vanderbilt University. "The candidate pool made the decision difficult for the stipend selection committee who had to select the 10 recipients from a record number of applicants (21).  We are extremely pleased with the growing success of the stipend program, and hope that success continues for the ICLA Convention stipends as well.  We are pleased to provide opportunities for licensing professionals to attend both of these important professional development opportunities by providing financial assistance."
