Scott Stevenson serves as the creative communications director for UC Davis. In this position, Stevenson is responsible for managing all aspects of publication production and for coordinating athletics information/content for various Web sites and other media outlets. Over the past few years, Stevenson has contributed greatly to the successful bid to move up to the NCAA Division I level. In 2008, Stevenson was given the managerial responsibility of the Aggie Pride Outlet (APO), which sells UC Davis apparel and merchandise. He is responsible for all aspects of store operations, including retail cash and credit transactions as well as inventory control systems. Several of Stevenson's responsibilities at UC Davis are outside of his position in athletics. As the Trademark Licensing Manager, Stevenson provides administration and graphics/analytical expertise in the campus trademark licensing program. He serves as the campus liaison for use of the official UC Seal with University Communications, Student Affairs, and the Bookstore, as well as for appropriate use of UC Davis logos for retail sales. Stevenson serves on several university related committees such as the UC Davis Campus Communicators Council, Social Media, UC Davis mass e-mail policy and the Strategic Marketing & Branding initiative. He also has memberships to national organizations such as the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and The University & College Designers Association (UCDA). Prior to his positions at UC Davis, Stevenson was the production manager/art director for Informant Communications Group, where he managed all areas of production & publishing and coordinated with the editorial staff on all copy writing. Stevenson holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design from UC Davis. |
