Brian Hommel was named the director of trademark licensing at Louisiana State University in 2005. In this capacity, Hommel is responsible for all facets of the administration of the University's Trademark Licensing Program which was established in 1981. The LSU Trademark Licensing program was presented with the 2008 International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) Synergy Award in recognition of the Collegiate Licensing Program of the Year. Prior to joining the LSU staff, Brian was a director of merchandise in minor league hockey and received awards as Merchandise Executive of the Year in 2000 and 2004. Brian is a Penn State graduate who currently reside in Baton Rouge with his wife Elisa and children Isabella, David, and Anthony. |
