Robin is the Indiana University's Assistant Director of Licensing and Trademarks. She has been with the office for the past twelve years. She manages all administrative functions of the office including, licensee applications, contracts, art reviews, insurance compliance and royalty payments. Robin has worked diligently to proactively educate University constituencies on the best use of University marks. She has also assisted with numerous trademark enforcement efforts which included attending numerous festivals and flea markets events that exposed a wide array of infringers. Robin is an Indiana native, graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Criminal Justice. She has also taken several graduate level courses in marketing and branding. She has worked on various new product promotions and marketing opportunities. Her favorite project was the creation and release of the red and white candy striped shirts, a promotion that included deputing the new product with Rupert from "Survivor" during Midnight Madness. Robin also manages the university's artwork database and submittal system; keeping all artwork files updated and current, including individual user profiles. She reviews and responds to over 400 licensees in reference to their artwork submittals to ensure that the marks are being used according to the university guidelines. Robin also oversees contractual compliance in an effort to ensure that all licensees are abiding to the terms of their agreements with Indiana University. Robin has a passion for county and state fairs and has sat on the Owen County Fair Association for over 25 years, serving 3 years as President. Currently she holds the office of District 4 Director for the Indiana State Fairs, Festivals and Events Association and will move into a Vice President position in 2011. She is married and has one son and 3 step children. She and her husband Jeff are also blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren. She is an avid animal lover, owning horses and a beautiful dachshund named Penny. Robin is very passionate about the world of Collegiate Sports and Licensing. As a people person she truly enjoys the ICLA and NACDA Associations and convention. She always looks forward to attending the conference and networking with other directors and associates in a continued effort to learn new initiatives that will help to improve the industry. She looks forward to working in the field for years to come. |
