Rachael Bickerton joined Boise State University in 2008 as Director of Trademark Licensing and Enforcement. Coming into a newly created position, Rachael's responsibility constantly evolves but includes overseeing Boise State's licensing program, both licensing and enforcement, and the University graphic identity policy. Rachael works closely with both Athletics and the University Bookstore to coordinate marketing and sponsorship activities, programs and merchandise retail. Rachael also works with University Marketing and Communications with specific focus on the University's graphic identity, brand consistency and marketing activities. Prior to joining Boise State, Rachael worked in various licensing, business affairs and business development roles in the entertainment industry, in London, New York and LA. While it was a challenging and interesting learning experience, Rachael is very happy that her career re-diverted her into the world of collegiate licensing. She is constantly thankful for the willingness of her peers at other schools, through ICLA, for their availability to answer questions and to offer support and advice.
