CLEVELAND -- The members of the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) have chosen a new set of officers to serve the Association for the next two years.  Anita Barker, director of athletics at Chico State, will serve as President of the Association in 2012-13 and 2013-14. 

In addition to Barker, the following directors of athletics were selected as DII ADA officers:  1^st Vice President Eric Schoh, Winona State University; 2^nd Vice President/Treasurer Fran Reidy, Saint Leo University; and 3^rd Vice President/Secretary Joseph Polak, Southern New Hampshire University.

"First I would like to thank Greg Waggoner, athletics director at Western State College of Colorado, along with  the entire Executive Committee for helping lead our Association during the past two years," stated Barker. "The D2ADA has been an integral part in spreading the word on Division II initiatives and its focus on the overall student-athlete experience via academics, athletics competition and community service and I look forward to continuing to lead our Association to the forefront of those initiatives."

In addition to the officers, the following directors of athletics will serve on the Board of Directors - Matt Bassett, Le Moyne College; Jack Bishop, Central Washington University; Susan Cassidy-Lyke, Molloy College; Carlton Cooper, Texas A&M University Commerce; Mark Corino, Caldwell College; Brad Edwards, Newberry College; Earl Edwards, UC San Diego; Ryan Erwin, Dallas Baptist University; Gary Hall, Barton College; Dennis Helsel, Chowan University; Denisha Hendricks, Kentucky State; Jim Herlihy, University of Montevallo; Dexter Irvin, University of Hawaii-Hilo; Jim Johnson, Pittsburg State University; Dick Kaiser, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology; Mark Linder, University of North Alabama; Roger Maisner, Mansfield University; Joan McDermott, Metropolitan State College of Denver; Pennie Parker, Rollins College; Chris Ratcliff, University of Arkansas Monticello; Tom Rubbelke, Concordia University St. Paul; Chris Snyder, Seton Hill University; Scott Wiegandt, Bellarmine University; and Griz Zimmerman, Lake Erie College.
