FCS ADA Elects 2009-10 Officers

CLEVELAND - The members of the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) have selected Peter Fields, director of athletics at Montana State University, to serve as President for 2009-10. "We have just completed an outstanding year for our Association," stated Fields. "I want to thank Tim Van Alstine (Past President) for his leadership. This is an exciting time for our organization, and I look forward to serving as President during the 2009-10 year." The Division I FCS ADA also elected the following athletics directors to serve as officers during the upcoming year - Greg Burke, Northwestern State University, 1st Vice President; Marilyn McNeil, Monmouth University, 2nd Vice President; and Ron Strollo, Youngstown State University, 3rd Vice President. The following directors of athletics were elected to serve on the Executive Committee - Jeff Barber, Liberty University; Ken Beazer, Southern Utah University; Tom Beckett, Yale University; Jeff Bourne, James Madison University; Charlie Cobb, Appalachian State University; Robert Hill, Stephen F. Austin State University; Brian Hutchinson, Morehead State University; Charlene Johnson, South Carolina State University; Greg LaFleur, Southern University; Bruce McCutcheon, Lafayette College; FCS ADA Past President Tim Van Alstine, Western Illinois University; Allen Ward, Murray State University; and Sheahon Zenger, Illinois State University. Yale University Head Football Coach Jack Siedlecki is the football coaches' representative on the Executive Committee.
