DI-AAA ADA Launches 2018-19 Mentor Program Application

April 23, 2018

CLEVELAND - DI-AAA ADA is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 DI-AAA ADA Mentoring Program.

The objective behind this program is to create an opportunity for current DI-AAA ADA members to develop a mentor-mentee relationship with an individual from another DI-AAA institution.

We all know the struggles of balancing life and career while continuing to excel in the industry, and by having a mentor or serving as a mentor, you could make a huge impact on someone's career simply by sharing your knowledge and experiences. To sign up and become a participant in the program please click on one of the two options below.

Communication Expectations: Mentors to Mentees / Mentees to Mentors (Year Round)

  • Mentors should be available for fielding all questions that the mentee may have. They should also reach out to the mentee and encourage interactions between them.
  • Mentees should use the mentor as a resource for all career building and improvement questions throughout the year. They should be highly engaged in responding to the mentor in a timely manner and put in the effort to create the best relationship possible. Mentees should be responsible for sending a bi-weekly update of projects they may be working on, questions they may have, and upcoming issues.

Please note there is a $500 reimbursable stipend available for the mentee to visit their mentor's campus.

All applications must be submitted by Friday, May 11. Any questions regarding the program can be directed to Devaun Bovell, DI-AAA ADA intern.
