Division II

Cleveland, Ohio - After the completion of six NCAA Championships, Grand Valley State (Mich.) has taken the lead in the second installment of the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Fall standings. In the most recent championships, the Lakers placed third in women's volleyball and ninth in women's soccer increasing their point total to 312.

Massachusetts Lowell is in second, trailing Grand Valley by 71 points. The River Hawks have accumulated a total of 241 points after finishing fifth in men's soccer.

Tampa (Fla.) is in a close third with 231 total points, after finishing third in men's soccer, and 17th in both women's soccer and women's volleyball.

Rounding out the top-five are Metropolitan State (Colo.) and Slippery Rock (Pa.), who are fourth and fifth respectively. The Roadrunners added 133 points to their previous total of 84 after placing third in women's soccer, 17th in men's soccer and 33rd in women's volleyball for 217 points.

In fifth and seven points behind Metropolitan State is The Rock of Slippery Rock (Pa.) with 210 points, who finished ninth in men's soccer and 17th in both women's soccer and women's volleyball.

Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Complete Division II Standings

Division III

Cleveland, Ohio - After the completion of six NCAA Championships, Williams (Mass.) maintains the lead with 326 points in the second installment of the Learfield Sports Directors'Cup Fall standings. In the most recent championships, the Ephs placed third in women's soccer.

Messiah (Pa.) is in second, trailing Williams by 32 points. The Falcons had a strong showing in the recent women's and men's soccer championships taking home both national titles for a total of 294 points.

Cortland State (N.Y) is in a close third with 283 points trailing Messiah by just 11 points. The Red Dragons finished 17th in men's soccer.

 

 

Rounding out the top-five are Emory (Ga.) and Calvin (Mich.) who are fourth and fifth, respectively. The Eagles added 114 points to their previous total of 164 after placing ninth in men's soccer and 17th in women's for 278 points.

Only 13 points behind Emory are the Calvin Knights who finished 17th in women's soccer and 33rd in men's soccer The Knights have 265 points.
