CLEVELANDIn the second set of fall Learfield Directors' Cup standings, Colorado School of Mines has scored 279.00 points to lead Division II, while Johns Hopkins has accumulated 358.00 points to lead the Division III standings. 

Colorado School of Mines jumped four spots to take the lead after finishing ninth in men’s and women’s soccer. Johns Hopkins also jumped two spots to take the lead after finishing fifth in women’s and ninth in men’s soccer.

In Division II, California Baptist jumped two spots to second place with 249.00 points after coming in ninth in the men’s and 33rd in the women’s soccer championship, while Grand Valley State remained in third with 236.50 points after a fifth place finish in women’s soccer. LIU Post moved up 15 spots to fourth with 227.00 points (fifth in men’s soccer, ninth in women’s soccer), and Shippensburg (PA) rounds out the top five after falling four spots with 212.50 points.

The PSAC leads all Division II conferences in the top 10 with three institutions – Shippensburg (PA) (fifth), East Stroudsburg (PA) (tied-10th) and West Chester (PA) (tied-10th).

In Division III, MIT dropped to second with 319.50 points after finishing ninth in women’s soccer. Middlebury fell to third place with 301.00 points (17th in women’s soccer, 33rd in men’s soccer), while Wisconsin La Crosse moved up to fourth place with 270.00 points (fifth in women’s soccer). Messiah rounds out the top five with 263.00 points after capturing the men’s soccer title and finishing fifth in women’s soccer.

The UAA leads all Division III conferences in the top 10 with three institutions – Chicago (sixth), Washington-St. Louis (eighth) and Emory (ninth).

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.  Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
