Oregon and Azusa Pacific Open Fall Season Atop the DI and NAIA U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings

Division I - Oregon leads the first set of Division I U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup fall standings. The Ducks have accumulated 190 total points after a first place finish in men's cross country and a second place finish in women's cross country.

Three of the nine fall NCAA championships have been completed with the following institutions capturing titles: women's cross country (Stanford), men's cross country (Oregon) and women's field hockey (North Carolina). The December 13th release will feature women's soccer and the national collegiate sport of men's water polo. The December 20th release will include Football Championship Subdivision football, women's volleyball and men's soccer, while the final fall release will be done on January 10, 2008, which will include the Football Bowl Subdivision Football, BCS standings.

NAIA - Azusa Pacific opens the 2007-08 NAIA U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings in a familiar spot, the lead. The Cougars have accumulated 308.5 total points after a first place finish in men's soccer. Azusa Pacific also finished second in women's soccer, sixth in women's cross country and 14th in men's cross country.

Four of the six fall NAIA championships have been completed with the following institutions capturing titles: women's cross country (Simon Fraser), men's cross country (Malone), women's soccer (Martin Methodist) and men's soccer (Azusa Pacific). The December 13th release will include women's volleyball and the final release on December 20th with include football.
