Adams State (Colo.) and Williams (Mass.) Lead First Fall Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings

Division II

Cleveland, Ohio - Adams State (Colo.) leads the first set of Learfield Sports Directors' Cup fall standings. The Grizzlies have accumulated 200 total points after taking home both the men's and women's NCAA cross country titles.

Western State (Colo.) trails the Grizzlies by 25 points after finishing second in the men's cross country championship and third in the women's championship. The Mountaineers have 175 total points.

Massachusetts Lowell is in third with 171 total points, after finishing second in women's field hockey, 13th in men's cross country and 22nd in women's cross country.

Defending Directors' Cup champion Grand Valley State (Mich.) is fourth overall with 165 points. The Lakers finished national runner-up in women's cross country and took home fifth place in men's cross country.

Rounding out the top-five is Chico State (Calif.) with 154 points. The Wildcats finished third in men's cross country and seventh in the women's cross country championship.

Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Complete Division II Standings

Division III

Cleveland, Ohio - Williams (Mass.) is the leader after the first fall Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings. The Ephs lead Cortland State (N.Y.) by 10 points, 243-233. Williams finished third at both the men's and women's cross country national meet. The Ephs also finished fifth overall in women's volleyball.

The Red Dragons of Cortland State (N.Y.) tallied three top-10 finishes, including the men's cross country national title. Cortland State also finished fifth in women's field hockey and ninth in women's cross country.

Calvin (Mich.) has 190 points after a runner-up finish in women's cross country, a fifth place showing in men's cross country and 33rd place finish in the volleyball championship.

Rounding out the top-five is a pair of Wisconsin institutions, La Crosse and Oshkosh. The Eagles of La Crosse had two top-10 showings, sixth in men's cross country and eighth in women's cross country. La Crosse also was 17th in volleyball for 188 total points.

 

 

The Titans of Oshkosh have 174 points after finishing fifth in volleyball, ninth in men's cross country and 18th in women's cross country.
