Stanford and Azusa Pacific (Calif.) in Control in the First Spring U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings

Division I On the strength of four top-25 finishes in the most recent spring championships, Stanford has expanded its lead in the first spring Division I U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings. The Cardinal now have a total of 1348.00 points after notching a third place finish in the national collegiate sport of women's water polo and a fifth place finish in women's tennis. Stanford also placed 17th in men's tennis and 25th in women's golf for a total of 266.00 points this spring. For the complete release and standings, click here. NAIA Following four top-five finishes in spring NAIA championships, Azusa Pacific (Calif.) remains atop the NAIA U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings. The Cougars lead all teams with 951.50 points, more than 100 points over second place. Azusa Pacific captured the men's outdoor track and field championship, placed third in men's tennis, fourth in women's outdoor track and field and fifth in women's tennis to have a total of 333.00 points scored in the spring.
