Grand Valley State and Williams Remain Atop the DII and DIII U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings

Division II - Grand Valley State held onto its lead in the second set of Division II winter U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings, tallying 699.5 points. Most recently, the Lakers finished fifth in men's basketball, 23rd in women's swimming, 28th in men's swimming and 33rd in women's basketball. Grand Valley State also tallied a third place finish in women's track and field and an eight place showing in men's track and field. The Lakers are looking for their fourth straight Directors' Cup title in 2006-07. For the full release and standings, click here.

Division III - The Ephs of Williams held onto its lead of the 2006-07 Division III U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings with 704.5 points. Williams won the women's track and field championship, finished fourth in men's swimming, sixth in women's swimming, 14th in men's track and field, 15th overall in the National Collegiate skiing championship, 30th in wrestling and 33rd in both men's and women's basketball.
