Grand Valley State (Mich.) and Williams (Mass.) Lead First Winter U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup Standings

Division II

For the third time this season, Grand Valley State (Mich) is atop the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings. The Lakers scored in four out of five winter championships to date, bringing their total points to 646.25.

Their highest finish this winter was in men's indoor track and field, where they placed fourth. The Lakers also placed sixth in women's indoor track and field, 16th in women's swimming and 21st in men's swimming. In total, the Lakers have scored 242.25 points this winter, the second most of any institution.

Division III

With four winter NCAA Division III championships completed, Williams (Mass.) has taken the lead in the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup standings. The Ephs, who were third in the final fall standings, now lead all institutions with 494.25 points.

Williams notched two top-10 finishes this winter, placing fifth in women's swimming and ninth in women's indoor track and field. The Ephs also tallied a 33rd place finish in men's indoor track and field and placed 47th in wrestling.
